There are so many opportunities for volunteers to assist the team at the Mission to Seafarers on a wide range of tasks – just four to eight hours a week can make a real difference.

If you like to drive, we’re always looking for people to hop in one of our shuttle buses and pick up seafarers from the wharf, bring them to the centre and then on to the local shops. You might also like to have a chat in the Flying Angel Club and provide some handy “tour guide” tips to seafarers for their short stay in Brisbane.

You could use your retail skills to assist in the shop, bar or on the foreign exchange till, spend a morning pottering in the garden or use your business skills to help with administration duties, banking or even fundraising or grant applications.
