What MTS Brisbane Does
Over 13,000 seafarers visited our Fisherman Islands Centre in both 2011 and in 2012.
We provide:
♦ Transport to and from ships. Our buses make over 8,000 trips around the port each year, travelling some 86,000 km and carry over 25,000 seafarers from and back to their ships.
♦ Provide Pastoral Care, Counseling and welfare services to seafarers as required.
♦ Telephones installed of which 4 are available 24 hours a day for out of hours calls. Seafarers make some 20,000 phone calls from our phones each year.
♦ Internet Service with PC’s, Skype and WiFi access.
